Hon. Mr

Chatham, CMG •

Director of Public Works.

Dear Sir,

.DIRI,IITOA 150V

Hongkong, 5th April, 1910.

Enclosure to Enclosure 44.

I beg to call your kind attention that I have not received any payment for the last two months in connection with

from the building of the New Law Courts. À I understand Mr.Fisher that there will be no settlement until the end of the current month, I would like to mention that it is almost impossible for me to continue on without pecuniary assistance, as I am being very hard pressed for funde. I trust you will see your way of making a substantial grant so as to relieve me of the present financial embarassment as I am placed in a rather awkward positi ion with so many outstanding accounts still un-paid. I could only hope that it will be possible for you to accommodate me gith a good sum in the course of the week for which I thank you in advance for the favour.

Yours faithfully,

Sd.
